Meet Your Counsellor
Sarah
Sarah is a qualified counsellor with a First-Class Honours degree in Psychology, Psychotherapy and Counselling, and a Master’s degree in Positive Psychology. She is a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and works in line with its ethical framework and professional standards.
Sarah has a particular interest in supporting clients experiencing neurodivergence, domestic abuse, and sports-related psychological challenges, often integrating principles of positive psychology into her work. Her main approach is person-centred, integrated with positive psychology, meaning she offers a warm, non-judgemental and collaborative space where clients feel heard, respected, and supported.
In her practice, Sarah works with a wide range of issues, including anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, grief, and life transitions. She aims to help clients develop resilience, gain clarity, and build on their own inner resources at a pace that feels right for them.
Sarah is committed to ongoing professional development and has completed a number of additional training courses to further enhance her practice. She continues to engage in regular learning and training to ensure her knowledge and skills remain current and reflective of best practice.
Sarah believes that people have the capacity for growth and meaningful change, even during difficult times. With empathy and steadiness, she works alongside clients to support them in making the changes that matter most to them, however big or small.
